Snowflakes...

I walked out of my appartment today and it was snowing! I know this isn't abnormal in Utah but it was a different kind of snow. The snowflakes were big and it was coming down slow. It felt like I was in a movie :) Just one of those moments you remember who created this beautiful world :) Happy Snow Day!

Well, we're back! I can't believe it's been this long since I've posted anything! A lot has happened, where do I start? We went home for Christmas break and had a blast! We loved being able to spend 2 and a half weeks in AZ with our families! It was so fun to be around our niece and nephews and play Santa with them! We did everything from making gingerbread houses to riding quads and getting stranded in the desert due to locking our keys in the car! :) It was quite the adventure.

Tyler had his birthday while we were there. It happened to be the same night as the BYU bowl game so it was filled with pizza and disappointment from the cougars. But Konni bought a super good chocolate cake to make up for it :)

Since Christmas, we've jumped back into the swing of school. Tyler is studying for the DAT and is going to take that in May. I just started seeing patients in hygiene school and am loving it. I can't believe that I have just over a year left.

So that's what's been going on with our little family. We hope everyone is doing well! Hope you enjoyed our pics from the break!

The Office

Tyler and I have become avid fans of The Office. We watched the season premire on Thursday and laughed so hard! So many things happened, but I don't want to say anything in case any of you haven't seen it yet. If you are not a fan of The Office, you should become one. It's going to be a great season!

Back to School

So I'm really doing it! I'm learning how to be a hygienist. This is my first patient Dex. I couldn't ask for a better patient :) School has been great so far. Pretty easy but I'm sure it's going to pick up soon. I absolutely love what I'm doing and I am so excited to be done and working. Only 19 months left :) I can't believe how long it has taken me to finish school... But I'm glad I'm finishing. I think it will be a huge blessing to have these skills.
Tyler is doing great! He is going to school full time and work 2 jobs. I don't know how he is doing it but I'm so greatful he is. I love him tons! We are going to be moving in the winter to Branbury appartments. My friend Katie and her husband are RA's there and we are going to be taking their position. We will be working there and in return will have free rent. We are so greatful for this opportunity, I don't know how we would survive without it. Katie and Erich are awesome to pull for us. We are so excited to move!

So I am starting Dental Hygiene school on Wednesday and I'm a little nervous!! I will be attending Utah College of Dental Hygiene (UCDH) here in Orem. I think it's going to be a great experience and I'll be so glad when I'm done and I can start cleaning people's teeth! I'm know, I'm weird for wanting to be in someones mouth all day... But I really don't mind it :) So be sure to come see me in a couple of years!

Summer is almost over! I can't believe how fast time has gone. We've had a great summer with a lot of fun memories. Here are a few pics from our awesome summer..
