So I know that this post is LONG overdue... But I finally sat down and tackled the long post I've been avoiding. So there are a ton of pics this post, hope you enjoy! :) I think I'll break down the last little while and tell you monthly the main events that have happened.
July: Both of our families were able to come up to Utah for the 4th of July. We watched fireworks with Tyler's family and had the BEST lunch at my grandma's house. (It is seriously my favorite meal of the year!) It was so fun to play with our niece and nephews, taking them on scooter rides, playing hide and go seek, and sleepovers at Auntie and Uncle's house.
We also were able to go to St. George during the 24th with our good friends Mark and Debra, and Ryan and Sarah. It was a nice weekend to just lay by the pool and relax from the demands of school and work.
August: This was a very eventful month. I had the whole month off of school. Tyler only had the last 2 weeks of August off so I decided to go see my sister in Florida with all my extra time :) It turned into a girls trip and my mom and other sister were able to go with me. I ended up finding a round trip ticket for only $150!! Find of the year! Besides being away from Tyler for 10 days, Florida was a blast! There is nothing like a Florida beach, white sand and warm water... nothing can top it. We spent most of our time at the beach, along with shopping, eating, and playing ticket to ride. I was able to stay a few extra days longer than my mom and other sister. My sister Andrea and I attempted to make a fondant cake. It was challenging but fun! My sister is way good at it, I think she should go professional!
After Florida, I met Tyler in AZ and we were able to spend about 2 and 1/2 weeks there with our families. Going home to AZ just re-confirmed how much I LOVE being in AZ. I got there and and loved being surrounded by the intense heat. I know I'm crazy but I actually missed the heat! We did so many fun things while we were down there. We were able to go to the lake, go to Sedona and go down slide rock, went to a D-backs game, ate at our favorite restaurants that they don't have here in Provo, tons of swimming and just hanging out with the family. As much as I love AZ, being down there for so long made me miss Provo just a little. It's where Tyler and I dated, had our first apartment, started our marriage... We have a lot of fun memories in Utah and the summers here are SO fun! I never thought I would be saying this but I'm really going to miss it when we leave. But I also can't wait to be back in AZ. :) August was a great month!!
September: Not a whole lot happened in September. It was back to the grind of school and work. We were able to do fun stuff like go camping a couple of times, go long boarding, have bbq's with friends... Watching BYU football was definitely on our Saturday list of things to do. Unfortunately they haven't been playing very well.
October: I can't believe that October is almost over! October has been a fun month as well. Fall hit Provo and after summer, it is my favorite season of the year in Utah. It started off with my family and Tyler's mom coming up for General Conference. I was in school for most of the time, so I wasn't able to do a whole lot with them. It was fun just having them up here! General Conference was good as always... loved Elder Holland's talk! We were excited to hear the Ft. Lauderdale, FL is getting a temple because that's where my sister is. Unfortunately, they won't be there by the time it's finished.
So it's been a great 4 months! We're looking forward to all the fun holidays coming up and being with family. Hopefully I will do better at posting more often, but no promises! :) Recently, my sister got me hooked on digital scrapbooking so that is where most of my "free time" has gone. I have to say that I am addicted to it! It's so fast and so easy once you get the hang of it. It's really fun! Anyway, thanks for enduring this long post! I'm glad I finally finished! Here are some of the pics from the last few months...
Waiting at the airport to fly to FLORIDA!

Beach time!
My sister Andrea, her husband Seth, and my cute Nephew Savea. Cutest little family!
Beautiful Florida beaches.
No joke this spider was HUGE! And it was right above our heads between 2 big trees. So scary!
Ya.. we're crazy!
I love this little guy!

Making Lasagna Roll-Ups for dinner. YUM!
After watching So You Think You Can Dance, my mom really wanted to learn how to do a pirouette. So I tried my best to teach her, she did pretty good! :)
So my nephew has this game called Horton Hears A Who. He absolutely loves it and I have to say it's pretty fun for being a kiddy game. You have to wear this silly mask and try to collect these clovers hidden around the house. It was funny to see everyone put on the elephant head :)
Dinner with the fam.

Yes, if you look closely you can see an alligator! This is a wild one we saw on the side of the road. I stayed far away from the river!!
So this is our cake adventure... it was really fun but took all day!

Our final product. What do you think? Don't look too close :)

So I was able to be in AZ when my niece started her first day of kindergarten. She was so cute when we picked her up. She seriously grew up about 10 years after that first day. She was so excited about her teacher and making new friends. We went out to ice cream after to celebrate.
We were able to go to the Oquirrh Mountain open house. The temple is beautiful!
On Friday, we had our friends over for a clue party. We had everyone dress up as a character and we played the game clue and watched the movie. I thought everyone did a great job with their costume! We also made homemade pizzas that were so yummy! It was a fun night!
Tyler ended up being Mr. Boddy but looked more like a mime instead :) I was the host of the party.
