3 month update

So I guess it's time for an update... :)

Christmas was great in Arizona. We were able to spend 2 and a half weeks down in sunny AZ. It was so nice to get away from cold, snowy Utah! I posted some pictures of the highlights of the 2 weeks we were there.

So for the past 3 years, my family has held a gingerbread house contest. It has become quite competitive over the last 3 years and every year the stakes get higher and higher. We are proud to announce that we were the champions this year with our "Up" house. All the houses were amazing though... It was a tough vote. This has become one of our favortie tradtions my family has started.

This year my mother-in-law decided to do a live nativity story with everyone. Christmas eve day Tyler and I decided to go out back and hit golf ball around. Well we go outside and we randomly see Tyler's dad building something. It took us a second to figure out what it was... It was a manger! It's not everyday you see your father-in-law building a manger :) Needless to say, it turned out amazing and was by far the best manger I've see. He even got hay to lay in it and cut off his own palm leaves to put on top. AMAZING!

The three "colorful" wisemen :)

Tyler decided to play a joke on Tanner and buy him these boxers to give him instead of the matching pj's everyone else got. Tyler just had to get a pair for himself :)
Tanner and Kayli hid all of Tyler's presents from "Santa" and instead left a note telling him he was getting coal for Christmas. Poor Tyler....

So Kayli's boyfriend Kirk came down after Christmas to spend a few days with the fam and stayed at the house with us. I could resist playing a little joke on them. I blocked the hallway you have to walk through to get to Kayli's room. I don't think they liked it very much :) I had way more fun putting it together than they thought was funny. Oh well :)

Love these kiddos!

We went to F1 raceway while we were down there. The boys couldn't resist putting on the whole uniform. I think it looks hot, don't you? :)

So that was our Christmas vacation down to AZ. Thanks family for such a fun time. We can't wait to be back down there. Hopefully sooner than later! :)
